Media Center Window
New Media Center window provides various features including new Media Manager, Explorer window, and Device Manager.
You can manage all of your digital media files in Media Manager.
Media Manager provides CD Library, Media Library, Automatic Browsing, Playlist and Automatic Playlist.

In CD Library, you can manage all of your CD collections.

In Media Library, you can create Album, and add your digital media files to the Album. You can create as many albums as you want. Album can automatically sync/update contents by monitoring system/device folders.

All files in Media Library are automatically sorted and displayed in Automatic Browsing. You can browse your media files by Artist, Album, Genre, Rating and more. Use Automatic Playlist for advanced browsing, where you can set specific rules or conditions during search.
File explorer lets you manage files in your computer without leaving jetAudio. File explorer can be accessed via 'My Computer' button in the upper left corner of the Media Center Window.
With Device Manager, you can download/upload/rename/delete files on your portable player.
You can Rip/Burn/Record into/from CDs via function keys in the button cluster located in the upper right corner of the Media Center Window.

Audio CD Ripping
jetAudio can create digital audio files from Audio CD.
You don't need to enter CD information (title/artist).
Instead, try to download from internet by using Internet CD Database function.
You can also rip whole Audio CD to one file. (useful for Live/Classic CDs)

Recording
Record from various analog sources such as microphone or Line-In input.
You can make digital audio files from your old cassette tapes or LPs. Just connect your audio's output to the sound card's input jack, then start recording.

By using timer function, you can stop recording after specified time automatically. JetAudio 6 provides new functions for advanced recording *.
You can adjust recording sound dynamically with built-in EQ, Low-pass, High-pass, and Band-rejection filters.

By using Silence Detector, JetAudio stops recording when silence is detected, and resumes recording if audio level is higher than specified silence level.

Internet Broadcasting
You can broadcast your own music through internet in MP3, OGG or WMA with jetCast!
jetCast mixes music and microphone input, and send it to listener through internet.

Reverb effect is supported for microphone input for enriched sound.

If you start your broadcasing, jetCast sends your station information to our directory server, so any one connected to internet can listen to your broadcasting!
If you want to broadcast only to specific listeners you want, use the Private Broadcast option to block unwanted listeners.

jetCast can interact with other broadcasting servers such as ShoutCast/IceCast, and supports multiple external servers (by using JCServer). So you can extend the bandwidth with multiple PCs.
For example, you can install JCServer to multiple external PCs (external PCs may exist in your home, your friend's home, or IDC building), and broadcast from your desktop to these multiple servers.

By using port-forwarding feature, you are able to broadcast even if your PC is connected to internet through router.

In addition to broadcasting, you can talk to your listeners and exchange files usingjetChat.

press Start button, then talk your greetings to microphone. Audio Mixing Recorder will

Toolbar Mode

Toolbar mode is used to minimize the space occupied by jetAudio in desktop area of the Windows. All features of jetAudio are accessible in the toolbar mode. When toolbar mode is enabled, jetAudio will appear as a toolbar similar to the taskbar of the Windows.
You can position the toolbar on any edge of the screen of any monitor(when multiple monitors used) or in a floating state as a normal window. Using Auto-hide, you can save more space of desktop

Remote Controller

You can control jetAudio using MCE (Microsoft Media Center) remote controller. jetAudio supports MCE compatible remote controller or Streamzap remote controller.

How dare you have the audacity to diss Audacity!! II've used it to creat all my audio projects......hmmm, then again, the Audacity software may be why the sound quality is so hit & miss (aka rubbish) on a majority of my mix tape compilations over the years.

I'm really looking forward to giving JetAudio a spin. It looks like it'll be a very robust piece of software to fit all my media needs at once.

I've used Audacity for all my projects also. For the most part it has worked great. I'm curious to see how much better jetAudio is!

It's a pretty good music tool! I have to try a few of its advanced options (so far I've only used it for playing mp3s, but I've been looking for something to convert video!)

For the home-recorded music: you might need a multi-tracker, which Jet, I believe, doesn't do. If you need one, let me know, and I'll point you in the right direction!

What do you mean by "Tag" ? The Jet Book is still working

If you have a folder with music files in it, instead of playing files, right click on the folder itself and play with JetAudio.
All tracks are nicely entered into the player.

While you are in there, with your mouse - you can highlight all tracks and Edit , insert album art. Pretty Cool!
